Solemnity of Christ the King

Mr. President,

Allow me to address you at this hour in which the fate of the whole world is being threatened by a global conspiracy against God and humanity. I write to you as an Archbishop, as a Successor of the Apostles, as the former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America. I am writing to you in the midst of the silence of both civil and religious authorities. May you accept these words of mine as the “voice of one crying out in the desert” (Jn 1:23).

As I said when I wrote my letter to you in June, this historical moment sees the forces of Evil aligned in a battle without quarter against the forces of Good; forces of Evil that appear powerful and organized as they oppose the children of Light, who are disoriented and disorganized, abandoned by their temporal and spiritual leaders.

Daily we sense the attacks multiplying of those who want to destroy the very basis of society: the natural family, respect for human life, love of country, freedom of education and business. We see heads of nations and religious leaders pandering to this suicide of Western culture and its Christian soul, while the fundamental rights of citizens and believers are denied in the name of a health emergency that is revealing itself more and more fully as instrumental to the establishment of an inhuman faceless tyranny.

A global plan called the Great Reset is underway. Its architect is a global élite that wants to subdue all of humanity, imposing coercive measures with which to drastically limit individual freedoms and those of entire populations. In several nations this plan has already been approved and financed; in others it is still in an early stage. Behind the world leaders who are the accomplices and executors of this infernal project, there are unscrupulous characters who finance the World Economic Forum and Event 201, promoting their agenda.

The purpose of the Great Reset is the imposition of a health dictatorship aiming at the imposition of liberticidal measures, hidden behind tempting promises of ensuring a universal income and cancelling individual debt. The price of these concessions from the International Monetary Fund will be the renunciation of private property and adherence to a program of vaccination against Covid-19 and Covid-21 promoted by Bill Gates with the collaboration of the main pharmaceutical groups. Beyond the enormous economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the population of the entire world. Those who do not accept these measures will be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their assets will be confiscated.

Mr. President, I imagine that you are already aware that in some countries the Great Reset will be activated between the end of this year and the first trimester of 2021. For this purpose, further lockdowns are planned, which will be officially justified by a supposed second and third wave of the pandemic. You are well aware of the means that have been deployed to sow panic and legitimize draconian limitations on individual liberties, artfully provoking a world-wide economic crisis. In the intentions of its architects, this crisis will serve to make the recourse of nations to the Great Reset irreversible, thereby giving the final blow to a world whose existence and very memory they want to completely cancel. But this world, Mr. President, includes people, affections, institutions, faith, culture, traditions, and ideals: people and values that do not act like automatons, who do not obey like machines, because they are endowed with a soul and a heart, because they are tied together by a spiritual bond that draws its strength from above, from that God that our adversaries want to challenge, just as Lucifer did at the beginning of time with his “non serviam.”

Many people – as we well know – are annoyed by this reference to the clash between Good and Evil and the use of “apocalyptic” overtones, which according to them exasperates spirits and sharpens divisions. It is not surprising that the enemy is angered at being discovered just when he believes he has reached the citadel he seeks to conquer undisturbed. What is surprising, however, is that there is no one to sound the alarm. The reaction of the deep state to those who denounce its plan is broken and incoherent, but understandable. Just when the complicity of the mainstream media had succeeded in making the transition to the New World Order almost painless and unnoticed, all sorts of deceptions, scandals and crimes are coming to light.

Until a few months ago, it was easy to smear as “conspiracy theorists” those who denounced these terrible plans, which we now see being carried out down to the smallest detail. No one, up until last February, would ever have thought that, in all of our cities, citizens would be arrested simply for wanting to walk down the street, to breathe, to want to keep their business open, to want to go to church on Sunday. Yet now it is happening all over the world, even in picture-postcard Italy that many Americans consider to be a small enchanted country, with its ancient monuments, its churches, its charming cities, its characteristic villages. And while the politicians are barricaded inside their palaces promulgating decrees like Persian satraps, businesses are failing, shops are closing, and people are prevented from living, traveling, working, and praying. The disastrous psychological consequences of this operation are already being seen, beginning with the suicides of desperate entrepreneurs and of our children, segregated from friends and classmates, told to follow their classes while sitting at home alone in front of a computer.

In Sacred Scripture, Saint Paul speaks to us of “the one who opposes” the manifestation of the mystery of iniquity, the kathèkon (2 Thess 2:6-7). In the religious sphere, this obstacle to evil is the Church, and in particular the papacy; in the political sphere, it is those who impede the establishment of the New World Order.

As is now clear, the one who occupies the Chair of Peter has betrayed his role from the very beginning in order to defend and promote the globalist ideology, supporting the agenda of the deep church, who chose him from its ranks.

Mr. President, you have clearly stated that you want to defend the nation – One Nation under God, fundamental liberties, and non-negotiable values that are denied and fought against today. It is you, dear President, who are “the one who opposes” the deep state, the final assault of the children of darkness.

For this reason, it is necessary that all people of good will be persuaded of the epochal importance of the imminent election: not so much for the sake of this or that political program, but because of the general inspiration of your action that best embodies – in this particular historical context – that world, our world, which they want to cancel by means of the lockdown. Your adversary is also our adversary: it is the Enemy of the human race, he who is “a murderer from the beginning” (Jn 8:44).

Around you are gathered with faith and courage those who consider you the final garrison against the world dictatorship. The alternative is to vote for a person who is manipulated by the deep state, gravely compromised by scandals and corruption, who will do to the United States what Jorge Mario Bergoglio is doing to the Church, Prime Minister Conte to Italy, President Macron to France, Prime Minster Sanchez to Spain, and so on. The blackmailable nature of Joe Biden – just like that of the prelates of the Vatican’s “magic circle” – will expose him to be used unscrupulously, allowing illegitimate powers to interfere in both domestic politics as well as international balances. It is obvious that those who manipulate him already have someone worse than him ready, with whom they will replace him as soon as the opportunity arises.

And yet, in the midst of this bleak picture, this apparently unstoppable advance of the “Invisible Enemy,” an element of hope emerges. The adversary does not know how to love, and it does not understand that it is not enough to assure a universal income or to cancel mortgages in order to subjugate the masses and convince them to be branded like cattle. This people, which for too long has endured the abuses of a hateful and tyrannical power, is rediscovering that it has a soul; it is understanding that it is not willing to exchange its freedom for the homogenization and cancellation of its identity; it is beginning to understand the value of familial and social ties, of the bonds of faith and culture that unite honest people. This Great Reset is destined to fail because those who planned it do not understand that there are still people ready to take to the streets to defend their rights, to protect their loved ones, to give a future to their children and grandchildren. The leveling inhumanity of the globalist project will shatter miserably in the face of the firm and courageous opposition of the children of Light. The enemy has Satan on its side, He who only knows how to hate. But on our side, we have the Lord Almighty, the God of armies arrayed for battle, and the Most Holy Virgin, who will crush the head of the ancient Serpent. “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom 8:31).

Mr. President, you are well aware that, in this crucial hour, the United States of America is considered the defending wall against which the war declared by the advocates of globalism has been unleashed. Place your trust in the Lord, strengthened by the words of the Apostle Paul: “I can do all things in Him who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13). To be an instrument of Divine Providence is a great responsibility, for which you will certainly receive all the graces of state that you need, since they are being fervently implored for you by the many people who support you with their prayers.

With this heavenly hope and the assurance of my prayer for you, for the First Lady, and for your collaborators, with all my heart I send you my blessing.

God bless the United States of America!

Amy Coney Barrett Nominated to Supreme Court

President Donald Trump on Saturday selected Judge Amy Coney Barrett to fill the Supreme Court seat left empty by the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg just one week ago.

Trump described the pick as “one of his highest and most important duties” as president, noting that it was the third Supreme Court pick.

The president made the announcement in the Rose Garden, thrilling conservative guests who were present and gave her a standing ovation when the president appeared with Barrett.

“She is a woman of unparalleled achievement, towering intellect, sterling credentials, and unyielding loyalty to the Constitution,” Trump said while introducing Barrett.

Barrett thanked the president for the honor of serving on the court, should she be confirmed by the Senate.

“I love the United States, and I love the United States Constitution,” she said. “I am truly humbled by the prospect of serving on the Supreme Court.”

The president’s choice demonstrates he did not waver from the idea of choosing Barrett to replace Ginsburg with another woman on the Supreme Court.

In 2018, Barrett was among the top four nominees that Trump met with to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy. He ultimately selected Justice Brett Kavanaugh for the job but reportedly viewed Barrett as an ideal choice for the replacement of Ginsburg in the future.

The president ignored pressure from some forces within the White House and in Washington to consider Florida Federal Appeals Court Judge Barbara Lagoa to earn additional political points in the state.

The president’s choice of Barrett marks a victory for conservative groups, especially pro-life and pro-Second Amendment groups who viewed her legal decisions and public comments as encouraging for future rulings.

The left views Barrett as a dangerous radical who would tilt the court in a conservative direction and try to overturn Roe v. Wade, as well as Obamacare.

Barrett, age 48, is a Roman Catholic and the mother of seven children, two of them adopted from Haiti. Her youngest child has special needs.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Barrett attended and graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where she studied literature, before attending Notre Dame Law School on a full scholarship. At Notre Dame, she served as the executive editor of the Notre Dame Law Review, graduated first in her class in 1997, and earned the Hoynes Prize, the law school’s top honor.

Barrett is a self-described constitutional “originalist,” arguing that a judge should not depart from the meaning of the language used by the Founders in the Constitution.

“We agreed to live by the Constitution until it’s lawfully changed,” she said at a Hillsdale College event in 2019. “And judges can’t change it. That’s not Democratic.”

Barrett clerked for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia from 1998 to 1999 after graduating top of her class from Notre Dame Law School.

“I tend to agree with those who say that a justice’s duty is to the Constitution and that it is thus more legitimate for her to enforce her best understanding of the Constitution rather than a precedent she thinks clearly in conflict with it,” she wrote in the Texas Law Review in 2013.

She also wrote about interpreting the Constitution in a 2017 legal article.

“A faithful judge resists the temptation to conflate the meaning of the Constitution with the judge’s own political preference; judges who give in to that temptation exceed the limits of their power by holding a statute unconstitutional when it is not,” she wrote.

Barrett was a professor at Notre Dame Law School before she was appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in November 2017. All 49 of her fellow faculty members at Notre Dame Law School praised Barrett for her professionalism and judicial mind in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“We have a wide range of political views, as well as commitments to different approaches to judicial methodology and judicial craft. We are united, however, in our judgment about Amy,” they wrote in a letter submitted for her 2017 Senate hearings.

Before clerking for Scalia, Barrett clerked for Judge Laurence Silberman on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. She then practiced law at Miller, Cassidy, Larroca & Lewin in D.C. and was a visiting associate professor at George Washington University Law School before returning to teach at Notre Dame in 2002.

At Notre Dame, Barrett received the “Distinguished Professor of the Year” award three times and taught classes on constitutional law, civil procedure, evidence, federal courts, federal litigation, and statutory interpretation. Her scholarly work has appeared in numerous academic journals.

Her 2017 confirmation hearing for the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals rallied religious conservatives to her side after Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) lectured her for practicing her Catholic faith.

“You have a long history of believing that your religious beliefs should prevail,” Feinstein told her. “The dogma lives loudly within you.”

Barrett replied, “If you’re asking whether I take my faith seriously and I’m a faithful Catholic, I am, although I would stress that my personal church affiliation or my religious belief would not bear in the discharge of my duties as a judge.”

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops sharply criticized Feinstein’s attack as “contrary to the Constitution” and un-American.

Here is a look at some of Barrett’s positions on legal issues:

Second Amendment:

In her dissent on the 2019 case Kanter v. Barr, Barrett asserted that the Second Amendment “confers an individual right, intimately connected with the natural right of self-defense.”

She argued that possessing a gun was an individual right, not simply a civic right, and a nonviolent convicted felon should have the right to own a firearm.

Barrett wrote:

History is consistent with common sense: it demonstrates that legislatures have the power to prohibit dangerous people from possessing guns. But that power extends only to people who are dangerous. Founding-era legislatures did not strip felons of the right to bear arms simply because of their status as felons. Nor have the parties introduced any evidence that founding-era legislatures imposed virtue-based restrictions on the right; such restrictions applied to civic rights like voting and jury service, not to individual rights like the right to possess a gun.

After judges found an Indiana law requiring the fetal remains to be buried or cremated after an abortion unconstitutional, Barrett voted in 2018 to rehear the case.

She also voted to rehear a ruling on a law requiring parents to be notified when a girl under 18 was seeking an abortion.

Barrett has not ruled on an abortion case.

In June 2020, she dissented in the decision of Cook County v. Wolf, defending Trump’s public charge law denying permanent residence status to immigrants receiving public welfare benefits.

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Trump’s authority despite the circuit court ruling against the administration.

In a 2017 law review article, she reviewed a book by Randy Barnett, who criticized Chief Justice John Roberts’ ruling upholding President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act.

She wrote:

Barnett is surely right that deference to a democratic majority should not supersede a judge’s duty to apply clear text. That is true, incidentally, even if one subscribes to the collective view of popular sovereignty, for a judge who adopts an interpretation inconsistent with the text fails to enforce the statute that commanded majority support.

In February of 2012, Barrett joined Catholic and religious professors publicly criticizing Obama’s administration for requiring religious institutions to provide employee insurance for abortions, sterilization, and birth control.

“This is a grave violation of religious freedom and cannot stand,” the letter read.

Commitment to Due Process in Sexual Assault Cases on Campus:

In 2019, Barrett led a reversal of a lower court’s decision to dismiss a case brought against Purdue University by a male student who was suspended and lost his ROTC scholarship after he was accused of sexual assault.

The man was accused by his ex-girlfriend of groping her in her sleep and was suspended by the university without cross-examination of the allegation.

The Seventh Circuit panel voted unanimously to revisit the case.

Catholic Archbishop Warns Trump of ‘Masonic’ Plot

A prominent Catholic archbishop has written a letter to President Donald Trump, warning him that his re-election bid this fall is tied directly to a spiritual battle between good and evil in the world.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano warned the president that the current crises affecting th U.S. were part of the eternal struggle between the forces of good and evil. He also warned of “Masonic” and “Deep State” threats against his presidency.

Vigano was formerly the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States—the Vatican’s equivalent to ambassador to Washington. Prior to that he served as Secretary-General of the Governorate of Vatican City State, essentially treasurer for the Vatican city-state itself.

But the archbishop’s star faded fast inside the Holy See when he took part in the Vatican Leaks scandal. He exposed the coverup of sexual abuse allegations against then-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick. He wrote a letter in 2018 saying Pope Francis was complicit in the coverup.

Vigano now serves as the Titular (retired) Archbishop of Ulpiana in Kosovo. Here’s the full text of his letter to the president:

Mr. President,

In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children of darkness. The children of light constitute the most conspicuous part of humanity, while the children of darkness represent an absolute minority. And yet the former are the object of a sort of discrimination which places them in a situation of moral inferiority with respect to their adversaries, who often hold strategic positions in government, in politics, in the economy and in the media. In an apparently inexplicable way, the good are held hostage by the wicked and by those who help them either out of self-interest or fearfulness.

These two sides, which have a Biblical nature, follow the clear separation between the offspring of the Woman and the offspring of the Serpent. On the one hand, there are those who, although they have a thousand defects and weaknesses, are motivated by the desire to do good, to be honest, to raise a family, to engage in work, to give prosperity to their homeland, to help the needy, and, in obedience to the Law of God, to merit the Kingdom of Heaven. On the other hand, there are those who serve themselves, who do not hold any moral principles, who want to demolish the family and the nation, exploit workers to make themselves unduly wealthy, foment internal divisions and wars, and accumulate power and money: for them the fallacious illusion of temporal well-being will one day – if they do not repent – yield to the terrible fate that awaits them, far from God, in eternal damnation.

In society, Mr. President, these two opposing realities co-exist as eternal enemies, just as God and Satan are eternal enemies. And it appears that the children of darkness – whom we may easily identify with the deep state which you wisely oppose and which is fiercely waging war against you in these days – have decided to show their cards, so to speak, by now revealing their plans. They seem to be so certain of already having everything under control that they have laid aside that circumspection that until now had at least partially concealed their true intentions. The investigations already under way will reveal the true responsibility of those who managed the COVID emergency not only in the area of health care but also in politics, the economy, and the media. We will probably find that in this colossal operation of social engineering there are people who have decided the fate of humanity, arrogating to themselves the right to act against the will of citizens and their representatives in the governments of nations.

We will also discover that the riots in these days were provoked by those who, seeing that the virus is inevitably fading and that the social alarm of the pandemic is waning, necessarily have had to provoke civil disturbances, because they would be followed by repression which, although legitimate, could be condemned as an unjustified aggression against the population. The same thing is also happening in Europe, in perfect synchrony. It is quite clear that the use of street protests is instrumental to the purposes of those who would like to see someone elected in the upcoming presidential elections who embodies the goals of the deep state and who expresses those goals faithfully and with conviction. It will not be surprising if, in a few months, we learn once again that hidden behind these acts of vandalism and violence there are those who hope to profit from the dissolution of the social order so as to build a world without freedom: Solve et Coagula, as the Masonic adage teaches.

Although it may seem disconcerting, the opposing alignments I have described are also found in religious circles. There are faithful Shepherds who care for the flock of Christ, but there are also mercenary infidels who seek to scatter the flock and hand the sheep over to be devoured by ravenous wolves. It is not surprising that these mercenaries are allies of the children of darkness and hate the children of light: just as there is a deep state, there is also a deep church that betrays its duties and forswears its proper commitments before God. Thus the Invisible Enemy, whom good rulers fight against in public affairs, is also fought against by good shepherds in the ecclesiastical sphere. It is a spiritual battle, which I spoke about in my recent Appeal which was published on May 8.

For the first time, the United States has in you a President who courageously defends the right to life, who is not ashamed to denounce the persecution of Christians throughout the world, who speaks of Jesus Christ and the right of citizens to freedom of worship. Your participation in the March for Life, and more recently your proclamation of the month of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month, are actions that confirm which side you wish to fight on. And I dare to believe that both of us are on the same side in this battle, albeit with different weapons.

For this reason, I believe that the attack to which you were subjected after your visit to the National Shrine of Saint John Paul II is part of the orchestrated media narrative which seeks not to fight racism and bring social order, but to aggravate dispositions; not to bring justice, but to legitimize violence and crime; not to serve the truth, but to favor one political faction. And it is disconcerting that there are Bishops – such as those whom I recently denounced – who, by their words, prove that they are aligned on the opposing side. They are subservient to the deep state, to globalism, to aligned thought, to the New World Order which they invoke ever more frequently in the name of a universal brotherhood which has nothing Christian about it, but which evokes the Masonic ideals of those who want to dominate the world by driving God out of the courts, out of schools, out of families, and perhaps even out of churches.

The American people are mature and have now understood how much the mainstream media does not want to spread the truth but seeks to silence and distort it, spreading the lie that is useful for the purposes of their masters. However, it is important that the good – who are the majority – wake up from their sluggishness and do not accept being deceived by a minority of dishonest people with unavowable purposes. It is necessary that the good, the children of light, come together and make their voices heard. What more effective way is there to do this, Mr. President, than by prayer, asking the Lord to protect you, the United States, and all of humanity from this enormous attack of the Enemy? Before the power of prayer, the deceptions of the children of darkness will collapse, their plots will be revealed, their betrayal will be shown, their frightening power will end in nothing, brought to light and exposed for what it is: an infernal deception.

Mr. President, my prayer is constantly turned to the beloved American nation, where I had the privilege and honor of being sent by Pope Benedict XVI as Apostolic Nuncio. In this dramatic and decisive hour for all of humanity, I am praying for you and also for all those who are at your side in the government of the United States. I trust that the American people are united with me and you in prayer to Almighty God.

United against the Invisible Enemy of all humanity, I bless you and the First Lady, the beloved American nation, and all men and women of good will.

Student found dead after viral video of him leading protest against ‘drag queen’ event for kids

Not long after a video of university students chanting “Drag queens are not for kids” to a drag queen at a public library went viral, the protest’s 21-year-old Catholic organizer was found dead.

While most of the immediate reporting out of Australia suggests that Wilson Gavin’s untimely death is the result of suicide, some friends of the devout traditional Catholic continue to speculate that this may have been murder in retaliation for his involvement in the library protest.

The viral video shows Gavin and more than a dozen others calmly standing in front of drag queen “Diamond Good-Rim” chanting, “Drag queens are not for kids.” This was during a drag queen story time event at the Brisbane Square Library on Sunday afternoon.

Gavin was president of the University of Queensland’s conservative Liberal National Club.

Gavin previously made headlines in Australia when at age 19, he spoke at a “You Can Say No” rally protesting against same-sex “marriage,” saying, “I support what marriage really is and I’m gay.”

At that time Gavin said in an interview, “They hate me because I’m a conservative and they hate me more because I’m a gay conservative.”

Gavin himself is reported to have been same-sex attracted and chaste, making his unpopular stand against same-sex “marriage” and transgenderism all the more admirable because of the backlash he endured.

“Drag queen protester Wilson Gavin’s suicide exposes horrors of online abuse,” blared a headline at The Australian, noting that he had received “a barrage of social media abuse” after the library drag queen story time video went viral.

At least one Australian politician referred to the pro-family protestors as “ratbags.”

“The alt left harassed and bullied [by] Wilson Gavin, a gay man, for opposing “drag queen story time” until he took his own life,” claimed another Twitter user. “They are directly responsible for his death. If this isn’t a wake up call I don’t know what is.”

We’re “LGBTQ-free,” Declare More Than 80 Polish Towns

Don’t try putting on a Drag Queen Story Hour in certain Polish towns — you’ll only get dragged away. In fact, more than 80 localities in the nation have explicitly declared themselves “LGBTQ-free zones,” raising sexual devolutionary ire to the point where the European Parliament has now condemned the declarations.

Vice reports on the story, writing that “MEPs voted by 463 votes to 107 Wednesday in favor of a resolution condemning discrimination against LGBTQ people in Poland, and explicitly calling on the Polish government to revoke discriminatory measures such as the ‘LGBTQ-free zones,’ established by dozens of conservative local authorities that have symbolically declared themselves free from ‘LGBTQ ideology.’”

‘”The European Parliament urges Polish authorities to condemn these acts and to revoke all resolutions attacking LGBTI rights,’ the European Parliament said in a statement.”

Homosexual privileges — often euphemistically called “gay rights” — “have become a hot-button issue in Poland this year since the ruling right-wing populist Law and Justice [Party] made its opposition to ‘LGBTQ ideology’ a central platform of its campaigns for national and European elections,” Vice also tells us.

The party’s pro-virtue rhetoric, echoed by faithful Catholics, “nationalist groups and state-run media, has painted gay rights as a dangerous, alien ideology — imported from the decadent, liberal West — that threatens the traditional, Catholic family unit,” Vice continues.

The site also informs that “Law and Justice chairman Jarosław Kaczyński, Poland’s de facto leader, warned in April of an ‘imported’ LGBTQ movement that ‘threatens our identity, our nation … and therefore the Polish state.’”

Reflecting this stance, neither same-sex “marriage” nor the intermediate step to it, civil unions, has government recognition in Poland. Then there are the socially enforced prohibitions. For example, homosexual “pride” marchers this summer in the Polish city of Bialystok were outnumbered fourfold by counter-protesters — and, wholly unwelcome, were subjected to some violence.

Poland, though, is rather lenient and late to the game compared to the land of its erstwhile master. In 2013, Russia enacted a law essentially prohibiting pro-homosexuality propaganda.

“Under the law, private individuals deemed to be promoting ‘homosexual behaviour among minors’ face fines of up to 5,000 roubles (£67; $85), while officials risk paying 10 times that amount,” wrote the BBC in 2017. “Businesses and schools can be fined up to 500,000 roubles.”

Interestingly and unexpectedly, left-wing filmmaker Oliver Stone called the law “sensible.” Reflecting the prevailing liberal sentiment, however, was the “European Court of Human Rights,” which condemned the law in 2017 and deemed it discriminatory. Of course, the court seems to have no problem with Western Europe’s hate-speech laws, which punish expression of politically incorrect views.

Yet that sexual devolutionary propaganda is allowed in Poland — a land in which I’ve spent much time — bodes ill for traditionalist forces. Why? Well, in their 1989 book After the Ball, homosexual activists Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen laid out strategy for the future. To quote them, they called for a “conversion of the average American’s emotions, mind, and will” on homosexual behavior “through a planned psychological attack, in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media.”

The homosexual activists predicted that if they can “produce a major realignment solidly in favour of gay rights, the intransigents (like the racists of twenty years ago) will eventually be effectively silenced by both law and polite society.”

And 20 years later, the aforementioned hate-speech laws — prohibiting much criticism of homosexuality — were already a Western world reality.

The lesson is that the media’s and entertainment’s messaging is significant for the same reason why corporations spend hundreds of billions of dollars yearly on advertising: It works. The young are especially influenced, being malleable, which is why Greek philosopher Plato spoke of cultivating in children an “erotic” (meaning emotional) attachment to virtue; this ensures that, upon maturity, they’ll be more receptive to reason’s dictates.

Unfortunately, it’s even easier to develop in kids an erotic attachment to vice, and the influence can be forever. As the Jesuit saying goes, “Give me a child until he is seven, and I will show you the man.”

This said, our Sexual Devolution began long before Kirk and Madsen wrote their book, long before even the 1960s. As G.K. Chesterton predicted in 1926, “The next great heresy is going to be simply an attack on morality; and especially on sexual morality. And it is coming … from the living exultant energy of the rich resolved to enjoy themselves at last.”

In truth, the descent began when society resolved that sexuality didn’t have to be confined to marriage and involve both unitive and procreative aspects; it can just be a physical act for fun — and thus was born, along with far fewer babies, the term “recreational sex.”

So then fornication was accepted because that was fun, and cohabitation was accepted because that was convenient. And as justifications and rationalizations were desired, moral relativism was accepted because that was all-absolutory.

Fun was not to be stigmatized, either, with those daring to dissent dismissed as stodgy, prudish killjoys. Sex was moved from the category of morality to that of taste, from that of principle to that of preference. But the thing about matters of taste is that they’re not matters of Truth. We’d never call someone “wrong” or immoral, for instance, for rejecting the standard flavors and preferring rainbow ice cream.

Thus, once the majority decided to have its fun, it was only a question of time before minorities would flaunt their fun. After all, homosexuals (and others) have their tastes, too. And thus was born the concept of “sexual preference.”

What’s next? The Los Angeles Times wrote a 2013 article entitled, “Many researchers taking a different view of pedophilia”; just as with homosexuality (as the theory goes), pedophilia is “a deep-rooted predisposition that does not change.” It’s “as intrinsic as the next person’s heterosexuality,” the paper also related, quoting a sympathetically portrayed pedophile (comprehensive examination of the matter here).

So now the idea is that kids can have “fun” and preferences, too, and are, as sex “researcher” Alfred Kinsey taught, “sexual from birth.”

The moral of this story is that unmoored from Truth, tastes can lead to turpitude, fun to social failure, and hearts to Hell — and that ideas, truly, do have consequences.
