Project Veritas Exposes Democrat Mark Kelly’s True Plans to Crack Down on Second Amendment Rights

James O’Keefe released Part 1 of his undercover videos on senate candidate Mark Kelly (D) and claimed Kelly “deceives AZ voters” as to the true nature of his gun control intentions.

O’Keefe spoke with Angelica Carpio, a field organizer for Mission for Arizona. O’Keefe describes Mission for Arizona as “basically Arizona’s Democrat Party and an extension of the Mark Kelly campaign.”

Carpio told O’Keefe, “[Kelly] just wants to get elected first. … Arizona is a very Republican state in general, like a red state. And I know, actually, right now it’s purple technically, but I think he just wants to get those independents. He wants to get those Republicans that don’t trust Trump anymore, and one of their main issues is guns.”

She went on to suggest that this is why Kelly has not voiced his gun control positions. She said, “I think it’s because he just wants to get elected first and then he wants to go further.”

Carpio mentions that “staffers” want Kelly to come out and discuss his gun control plans now, but “he’s trying to be elected, and then he’ll implement the measures.”

On April 20, 2020, Breitbart News reported that Kelly was not mentioning his support of stringent gun control during campaign stops in Arizona.

For example, his stops did not include a mention of his support for universal background checks, even though such checks would impact Arizonans greatly by criminalizing gun sales that occur apart from seeking government permission via a background check. Such checks already apply to retail sales, but Kelly wants to expand them to private sales, too. This means that a neighbor could not legally sell a gun to a lifelong neighbor unless first getting government permission via a background check; it means one coworker could not sell a five-shot .38 revolver to another coworker, even if they have known each other for decades without first getting government permission via a background check.

Kelly and his wife, Gabby Giffords, have spent years assuring Americans that background checks are key to making America safer. However, they do not mention that when Kelly’s wife was attacked on January 8, 2011, her attacker used a gun he had acquired via a background check.

On July 13, 2020, Breitbart News reported that Kelly was not using campaign stops to talk about the expansion of gun seizures he hopes to put in place. Kelly’s campaign website says these seizures would work by “allowing families and law enforcement to ensure dangerous individuals and people in crisis don’t have access to firearms.”

Suffice it to say that Kelly’s universal background checks and firearm seizures are reminiscent of the types of gun control in place in California.

Kelly’s campaign website also pledges that Kelly will “stand up to the gun lobby.” Arizona is regularly ranked as one of the most gun-friendly states in the union. Guns and Ammo ranked Arizona the most gun-friendly state, period, in 2019.

But Kelly has gun control intentions that field organizer Angelica Carpio suggests he does not want to discuss until after the election.

Virginia Governor Abuses Law to Declare State of Emergency, Ban Guns for Planned Pro-gun Rally

As the Virginia State Legislature — now firmly in the hands of Democrats — prepares to push for what Republican Party of Virginia Chairman Jack Wilson calls “a disarmed, vulnerable, and subservient citizenry,” freedom-loving citizens of the Old Dominion planned a rally for Monday (the 20th of January) to voice their concerns and demand that their right to keep and bear arms is not infringed. In response, Democrat Governor Ralph Northam declared a state of emergency and instituted a temporary ban on all weapons on the Capitol grounds.

Illegal Alien from Canada Allegedly Planned Attack at Virginia Gun Rally

As a result of the recent flip from Red to Blue (largely orchestrated by pro-Chinese communists) Democrats in the Virginia General Assembly are unapologetic about plans to disarm law-abiding Virginians. Governor Ralph Northam — having previously failed to get any traction for his citizen-disarmament policies — now appears to see his way clear to implement them.

Northam and his comrades in both houses of the Assembly have made their intentions clear. In June, he called a special session of the Virginia General Assembly to consider passing what he called “common sense” gun laws. Those laws would have included universal background checks; child access prevention; a one-gun-per-month purchase limit; bans on all so-called assault weapons, including bump stocks and high-capacity magazines; legal responsibilities for lost or stolen guns; allowing municipalities to ban guns from municipal buildings; and so-called red flag laws.

He and his fellow Democrats were held at bay in June because Republicans still controlled the General Assembly. But that was then; this is now. With the aforementioned Maoist-assisted shift in to the left in Virginia, Northam’s hands are not nearly so tied. Wasting no time, Democrat legislators began trotting out one anti-gun bill after another as soon as the legislative session began. As Roanoke, Virginia, NBC affiliate WSLS 10 News reported Monday, January 13:

The Democratic-led Senate Judiciary Committee sent four gun control bills to the Senate floor.

They include:

  • A limit of one handgun purchase per month.
  • Expanded background checks to include private sales.
  • The ability for localities to ban guns in public spaces, including government buildings.
  • A Red Flag law, which gives law enforcement officers the ability to seize guns from people determined to be at risk of hurting themselves or others.

That article also stated that “There were passionate comments from dozens of gun rights supporters in the committee meeting and in a press conference held by NRA members near the Capitol.”

The NRA is not the only group to express concern over the new slate of anti-gun legislation. The Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) is one of the premier gun-rights groups in the state. VCDL has planned a gun-rights rally to be held on the Capitol grounds on Monday, January 20. That date — Martin Luther King, Jr. Day — is the traditional “Lobby Day” at the General Assembly, when citizens converge on the offices of their delegates and senators to express their views on a wide range of issues.

Wednesday — just days ahead of the rally which is expected to draw overflowing crowds of gun-rights supporters — Governor Northam twisted a 2012 law beyond recognition and declared a state of emergency including a temporary ban on all weapons on the Capitol grounds for Monday’s rally. That law was created to allow the governor to issue such a temporary ban “to the extent necessary to ensure public safety in any place or facility designated or used by the Governor, any political subdivision of the Commonwealth, or any other governmental entity as an emergency shelter or for the purpose of sheltering persons.”

His application of that law to this event is a transparent attempt to pervert the law for his own political agenda. Northam is essentially declaring that the Capitol grounds is an emergency shelter. Republican Delegate Mike Watson illustrated just how ridiculous that application of the law is, tweeting, “So the Governor has declared the Capitol Grounds a ‘Shelter’ in order to get around the law. I’m curious how many times a 14 acre plot of land has been designated an emergency shelter?” Furthermore, Watson pointed out in a subsequent tweet that “per COV sheltering strategy, Capitol Square does not meet the qualifications of an emergency shelter.”

Not only that, but even Northam’s premise for the state of emergency and weapons ban stretches credulity to the breaking point. In his announcement of the measure, Northam claimed there were threats of “armed militia groups storming our Capitol” and perhaps even using “weaponized drones.” He added, “Let me be clear. These are considered credible, serious threats by our law enforcement agencies.”

In a naked attempt to stir up fear, Northam resurrected the spectre of the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, claiming that rhetoric used by groups planning to attend Monday’s rally is similar to what was said in the lead-up to that event. “We will not allow that mayhem and violence to happen here,” he said, adding of those “armed militia groups” that “They’re not coming to peacefully protest. They are coming to intimidate and cause harm.”

VCDL is considering legal action to block Northam’s ban. The pressing question is whether the group has time to get a legal injunction before Monday. And VCDL President Philip Van Cleave has urged all participants at the rally — whether or not the ban is in effect — to avoid engaging with any counterprotesters and authorities. He has also asked all militia groups to refrain from providing security at the event, stating that police can and will handle such matters. He added, “Lobby Day is a peaceful event about gun rights and NOTHING ELSE.” (Emphasis in original.)

On Friday, three days ahead of the rally, Virginia Senator Amanda Chase warned that the rally was a setup and that a false flag was possible based on her intel.

Senator Chase wrote this on her Facebook page.

I want you to be aware of how we are being set up.

Does the Patriot Act ring a bell?

Does the National Defense Authorization Act ring a bell?

If people show up wearing any kind of uniform, patch or other symbol on their clothing signifying they belong to a militia and something goes wrong, you could/will be held as a domestic terrorist.

If anyone steps out of line, all it takes is one person, it may even be a government plant….if that plant does anything to disrupt the rally, you could/will be arrested as a domestic terrorist.

The Governor, using the media has already set the stage for this to happen.
He has already laid the groundwork to make the entire movement look like insurrection.

It will be used to put the rest of the nation on notice of what will happen to you, if you resist.

They have used the Southern Poverty Law Center over the last 15 years to lay the groundwork.

They have labeled us as potential domestic terrorist for a long time now.

Anyone who has ever related to the 3%er’s, a militia, or just belonged to any Patriot group…the groundwork has been laid to brand you as a domestic terrorist.

Western Journal has more on the warning:

A Virginia state senator has sounded a warning bell three days before a massive rally is set to coalesce in the commonwealth’s capital.

Conservative Sen. Amanda Chase of District 11 took to Facebook on Friday with a warning for every patriot who plans to attend the pro-Second Amendment rally Monday in Richmond.

Her warning came the same week that Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam issued an executive order temporarily banning firearms in the Capitol Square.

“Sadly, I am posting this, knowing that the Governor of Virginia has declared a State of Emergency in our state,” Chase wrote. “I want you to be aware of how we are being set up.”

Although the mainstream media portrayed the gathering as one of white nationalists and anarchits, the patriots and constitutionalists who protect their right to bear arms were model citizens in a peaceful protest of around 60,000.

One of the things focused on excessively by the fake news media during the build up of the peaceful gun rally in Virginia was the supposed plotting of neo-Nazis and armed militia groups to storm the Capitol.

Although none of those hysterical fears came to fruition, there were three men accused of being involved with the neo-nazi group The Base that were arrested a few days prior, on weapons’ charges as well as the bizarre charge of harboring an illegal immigrant from Canada. It was claimed by authorities without any evidence being provided to the public that they were planning a violent display at the Capitol rally.

While this news was used to demonize all gun owners, startling details  emerged showing that The Base may have in fact been a group run by the feds. Another Base member Yousef O. Barasneh, 22, was arrested and charged with vandalizing a Racine, WI synagogue in 2019. Court records show that a federal informant had been giving orders to members of the hate group to commit acts of anti-Semitic terror.2

VA Democrats Drop AR-15 Confiscation After 1000s of NRA Members Storm the Senate

Folks, pay attention because this is how you win against the tyrannical left.

You show up.

Thanks to thousands of NRA members storming the Senate, Virginia Democrats have withdrawn their AR-15 confiscation bill.

See how easy that was? Of course, there’s still a long, long road to go but this is the winning “recipe” to defeating these monsters.

The NRA called on their members to flood the Virginia Senate meetings yesterday to make sure that the pro-Second Amendment voices drowned out those calling for gun control.

And it worked!

Video from hallways outside the meetings showed NRA members responded en masse.

There were gun-loving patriots as far as the eye could see.

It was a sight to behold!

You can watch the video below:

The presence of thousands of NRA members is what did the trick!

But NRA-ILA Virginia state director Daniel Spiker made clear the changes, though good, were not enough.

GOOD!!! Exactly, let it never be enough!

This is exactly how the left behaves when it comes to the LGBTQ mob – they keep pushing for more, more, more, and that’s exactly how the NRA and gun-loving patriots must behave.

He said, “While there were some improvements to some of these bills, overall, it’s still bad legislation. Putting in more regulations and making it more onerous on the law-abiding citizens of Virginia is not something we stand for.”

Netherlands: 44% of Women Feel Unsafe In Public Places

A stunning 44 percent of women in the Netherlands regularly feel unsafe in public spaces, according to findings of a large survey conducted by De Telegraaf.

Over 1,000 female readers were polled on a series of questions pertaining to personal safety and security, and the results indicate a sizable portion of the country’s female population is unable to comfortably move about in public on a consistent basis.

“Avoid public transport in the evening, hold your breath when you pass a group of young men on the street and always have a bunch of keys or a hair spray in your hand to ‘arm yourself’ against sudden danger: for a considerable number of Dutch women this has become the daily reality,” De Telegraaf reports.

Interestingly, buried deep in the article is the revelation that “a striking number of women mentioned men of foreign origin” in connection with negative personal experiences, including sexual assault, harassment, and physical intimidation.

Key findings of the survey include:

  • 85% sometimes feel unsafe using public transport, with one-third of that group saying the feeling is frequent or constant
  • 44% avoid public transportation altogether after dark
  • 55% regularly carry carry items that can be used as weapons, like umbrellas, keys, defensive sprays, or even knives
  • 42% sometimes walk alternate routes, even if they are longer, for safety reasons
  • 43% sometimes feel unsafe taking taxis
  • 28% feel unsafe walking around due to harassment by groups of men
  • Most women who have been attacked or sexually assaulted were not assisted by bystanders

Multiple readers shared tales of being surrounded, robbed, or attacked by large groups of foreign males.

One woman says she awoke on a train to a man pleasuring himself in front of her before he pulled out a large knife and began cleaning his nails.

The survey findings closely resemble those of a recent poll conducted by the Brussels–Prevention & Security (BPV) service, which found that 44 percent of Brussels inhabitants now carry a “means of defense” when they travel around the city.

TEXAS CHURCH SHOOTING: Shooter Gets Off Two Shots Before He’s Shot Dead

As reported by Cassandra Fairbanks, two people were killed and one person is in critical condition after a shooting at the West Freeway Church of Christ in northwest Texas.

The shooter was prevented from creating more carnage by armed members of the church, several of whom drew their own weapons in response to his attack, as well as a security guard. It has now been confirmed that the gunman was shot and is one of the two people killed.

No less than four church members, including one guard, pulled guns on the shooter before he caused more carnage!! Guns Save Lives.

The shooter was dressed in black with a hood over his head before he started shooting.

The church took the video down but it is still posted online here.

The church was livestreaming their service to YouTube when the incident took place, but the video has since been made private. In the video, dozens of terrified worshippers can be seen ducking under pews as the shoot out unfolds.

A witness told CBS 11 News that the gunman had shot a server during communion, before being shot and taken down by another church member. The incident took place around 10 a.m. local time.

“It was the most scariest thing. You feel like your life is flashing before you. I was so worried about my little one,” Isabel Arreola, who witnessed the shooting, told CBS.

MedStar spokeswoman Macara Trusty told the Dallas News that one person died at the scene and another died while being transported to the hospital.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton issued a statement about the shooting on Twitter, asking for prayers for the victims.

In September 2019, Biden spoke to members of the press to express his outrage over Texas Governor Greg Abbott signing a bill into law earlier this year that allowed lawful gun owners to carry firearms in places of worship.1

Kinnunen was arrested in 2016 after police found him in possession of a .12 gauge shotgun and rounds while in the area of the Phillips 66 refinery in Linden, New Jersey. He was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon.

The man who shot two people at a White Settlement Church on Sunday before he was killed by church security has been identified as 43-year-old Keith Thomas Kinnunen, of River Oaks, according to two law enforcement sources.

Kinnunen had a criminal record in Tarrant County including charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 2009 and theft of property in 2013.

He also was arrested in September 2016 for possession of an illegal weapon in Linden, New Jersey after he was found taking pictures outside an oil refinery, according to news reports at the time.

An article on the news website mycentraljersey.com reported that Kinnunen said he was travelling from Texas, was homeless and was taking photos of “interesting sites.”

At the time of his New Jersey arrest, Kinnunen also had a warrant for his arrest in Oklahoma for aggravated assault, mycentraljersey.com reported.

Convicted felons cannot own guns in Texas. A felon in Texas can own a gun but only on his premises and five years after the conviction.

Kinnunen was a felon with a long police record. By Texas law he was not allowed to own a gun yet he went into a church and shot two people before being shot dead.

Thank God for the good guys with their guns. No gun control laws will prevent convicted felons like Kinnunen from acquiring a firearm.
