Report – Evangelicals for Hire: Israel Paid U.S. Christian Zionists to Push Propaganda

More than half of all American states have passed laws designed to combat the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel. No advocacy group was more important to this push than the Israel Allies Foundation, an American non-profit that supports a network of pro-Israel legislators across the globe.

It was the IAF that in 2014 connected a South Carolina politician with an Israeli legal scholar who drafted the first bill to ban state agencies from contracting with entities that boycott Israel.

After that law passed in South Carolina in 2015, the IAF successfully lobbied for nearly-identical anti-BDS bills in 25 other states, including Florida, Pennsylvania and Arizona. Now the group is backing another bill, which has already passed in South Carolina and Florida and been introduced in six more states, which would change civil-rights codes to define antisemitism to include anti-Zionism.

Public records obtained by The Forward show that the Israeli government approved a grant of more than $100,000 to the Israel Allies Foundation in 2019. The IAF has not disclosed this or any previous Israeli grants to the United States government, in possible violation of laws requiring American political advocacy groups to disclose foreign-government contributions.

The IAF, which reported $1.4 million in revenue in 2018 and features a testimonial on its website from Vice President Mike Pence, did not respond to four emails seeking comment.

It is one of 11 American groups that received Israeli government funds, according to the documents, which show that the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs and a quasi-governmental organization it created have given at least $6.6 million to U.S. organizations since 2018. These grants, along with millions more that went to groups in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Israel itself, were to further the country’s public diplomacy efforts, particularly against BDS.

The Israeli government’s gifts to pro-Israel American entities — including more than $1 million each to Christians United for Israel and Aish Hatorah’s Hasbara Fellowships — were publicly unknown until the last few weeks, after a politician not from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s party took over the ministry and dropped its longstanding stance against releasing its public records.

According to the Israeli documents, most of the grants to the American organizations were intended to send those groups’ members — and selected guests — on chartered trips to Israel, which often included meetings with Israeli officials. Spending these funds abroad, rather than inside the United States, may have allowed them to avoid onerous federal disclosure requirements designed to thwart foreign influence campaigns.

But documents also suggest that some of those trips included instructions for pro-Israel advocacy back home — in statehouses and on college campuses — which legal experts say may expose not just the recipient groups but also anyone who went on their trips to fines and even prosecution for violating disclosure rules.

The documents, which include financial spreadsheets, government memoranda and the minutes of official meetings, were released after a Freedom of Information Act request by the Israeli Freedom of Information Movement and the Israeli news website The Seventh Eye, and shared with the Forward.

Hanukkah Machete Attack in NY

5 people were stabbed after a black male entered Rabbi Rottenburg’s Shul, located in the Forshay neighborhood in Monsey, New York, and pulled out a machete.

Notably, the attack occurred on the last day of Hannukah.

As VosIzNeias.com reports, the alleged assailant pulled off the cover and stabbed at least 5 people.

One of the victims was stabbed in the chest. Two of the victims of the attack were taken into hospital as critical. One of the victims was stabbed at least 6 times. The fifth/least severe case had a cut in his hand.

The perpetrator then ran out and escaped in a vehicle. His plates were spotted before he left (HPT-5757 per the person who saw it and we confirmed it with him directly – a Gray Nissan Sentra).

The attack occurred at a rabbi’s house in the religious community — the latest attack on Orthodox Jews near New York City. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has come under increasing criticism for the attacks, especially after several suspects in recent violent antisemitic attacks were released as courts have rushed to comply with the state’s new “bail reform” legislation, which is supported by the de Blasio administration, and which takes full effect Jan 1.

On Sunday broadcast of MSNBC’s “Live,” New York Governor Andrew Cuomo commented, “We tend to treat these situations as isolated episodes, but really if we just connect the dots, we have a pattern of hate in this nation that is only getting worse. We’ve seen almost weekly attacks on people based on race, color, creed. It’s hate-motivated. Apparently, there was another shooting in Texas today in a church. We’ve seen attacks against African-Americans, Latinos, LGBTQ community. And let’s call it what it is and let government act because this can destroy this nation. It is corrosive. It’s an American cancer.”

He continued, “It starts at the top, and then it goes on to a point where it becomes viral across this nation. And it is now viral. And you see it coming to the surface in different manifestations from coast to coast. And we’re comforted treated it as isolated episodes, but there’s a pattern to all of this, and it spells hate.”

De Blasio condemned the attack, but also came under immediate criticism for not doing enough about antisemitism:

Despite the SPLC constantly fanning the flames of hysteria over domestic extremism, they remained completely silent about the domestic terror attack against Hasidic Jews, presumably because it was carried out by a non-white person.

Monsey mass stabbing suspect Grafton Thomas, 37, was arrested “at least seven times” since 2001 according to a report from the Washington Post:

A man barged into a rabbi’s home with a long knife and stabbed five people Saturday night in New York state, officials and witnesses say, shattering Hanukkah celebrations and renewing fears of attacks on the country’s Jewish community.

The suspect in custody, identified by police as 37-year-old Grafton E. Thomas of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., has pleaded not guilty to five counts of attempted murder and one count of burglary, according to the Associated Press.

[…] Local news outlets reported that Ciganek said in court that her client had no criminal record. But according to a security official briefed on the case, Thomas has been arrested at least seven times since 2001, on offenses that include assault, resisting arrest, killing or injuring a police animal, driving while under the influence, possessing controlled substances and menacing a police or peace officer. He appears to have received a jail sentence only for a 2013 arrest for possession of a controlled substance.

Officials have yet to announce a motive in the stabbing in Monsey, about 30 miles north of Manhattan, but state leaders were quick to denounce the attack as an act of anti-Semitism.

Online Al Jazeera Outlet Claims Jews Control Porn Industry to ‘Corrupt People’ Because They ‘Hate Christ’

An internet channel owned by Qatari broadcaster Al Jazeera uploaded a video last week claiming Jews control the porn industry and use it to “corrupt people” because they “hate Christ.”

According to a translation by watchdog MEMRI, the narrator of the clip on Midan Voice claims that Israel forced the removal of porn sites from the country, which “raises a legitimate question, because it contains a strange paradox: How come the Jews ban pornography in their own country when they were the first to expand porn and invest in it to begin with?”

“The Jews have dominated most aspects of [the porn industry], if not all of them,” the narrator says.

“Even in the famous Playboy magazine, which was founded in the mid-1950s, the Jews’ control over the magazine team was entirely clear from day one,” they add.

South Carolina Becomes the First State to Legally Define Criticism of Israel as “anti-Semitism”

South Carolina becomes the first state to legally define criticism of Israel as “anti-Semitism” when a new measure went into effect on July 1, targeting public schools and universities. While politicians have tried to pass the measure as a standalone law for two years, they finally succeeded temporarily by passing it as a “proviso” that was slipped […]

U.S. Political Pedophile Ring Leader, Jeffrey Epstein, Sued by Sex Slaves but Gets Off Easy

A federal civil suit was filed in Florida against the United States for violations of the Crime Victims’ Rights Act in agreeing to the 2008 plea where the United States had entered into a secret non-prosecution agreement (NPA) regarding those crimes in violation of their rights (other victims have also joined the suit); it accuses Jewish Illuminati […]
