DHS Omits ‘Antifa’ from Latest Domestic Threat Assessment

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) does not include Antifa in its latest assessment of domestic threats to the homeland.

The 26-page Homeland Threat Assessment (HTA), dated October 2020, does describe the problem of violent protests, though it emphasizes the threat posed by white supremacist groups and omits the word “Antifa.”

As Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf notes in a foreword (original emphasis):

Domestic violent extremism is a threat to the Homeland. As Americans, we all have the right to believe whatever we want, but we don’t have a right to carry out acts of violence to further those beliefs. The Department works with other Government, non-Government, and private sector partners to prevent individuals from making this transition from protected speech to domestic terrorism reflected by violence. As Secretary, I am concerned about any form of violent extremism. That is why we design our programs to be threat agnostic – ensuring that we can combat a broad range of domestic threats. However, I am particularly concerned about white supremacist violent extremists who have been exceptionally lethal in their abhorrent, targeted attacks in recent years. I am proud of our work to prevent terrorizing tactics by domestic terrorists and violent extremists who seek to force ideological change in the United States through violence, death, and destruction.

Exploitation of Lawful and Protected Speech and Protests. During the course of developing the HTA we began to see a new, alarming trend of exploitation of lawful protests causing violence, death, and destruction in American communities. This anti-government, anti-authority and anarchist violent extremism was identified by DHS in September 2019 when we published our Strategic Framework for Countering Terrorism and Targeted Violence. As the date of publication of this HTA, we have seen over 100 days of violence and destruction in our cities. The co-opting of lawful protests led to destruction of government property and have turned deadly.

Indeed, DHS law enforcement officers suffered over 300 separate injuries and were assaulted with sledgehammers, commercial grade fireworks, rocks, metal pipes, improvised explosive devices, and more. This violence, perpetrated by anarchist extremists and detailed in numerous public statements that remain available on the DHS website, significantly threatens the Homeland by undermining officer and public safety— as well as our values and way of life. While the HTA touches on these issues, we are still in the nascent stages of understanding the threat this situation poses to Americans, the Homeland, and the American way of life.

Later, the document emphasizes the danger that foreign actors could exploit the ongoing unrest, and warns that violent extremists are “taking advantage of large protest crowds to conduct violence.”

The Washington Times observes: “Violent white supremacists killed 39 people in the U.S. between 2018 and 2019, making them responsible for more than 80% of all deaths attributed by DHS to domestic extremists during the span.”

Some government officials have resisted identifying Antifa as an organization, and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has called it an “idea.”

DHS Memo Names “Right Wing Extremists” as Biggest Terror Threat In Portland, Despite Four Months of Violent Leftist Riots

After four months of nearly non-stop nightly riots and destruction in Portland, which have included shooting and killing a Trump supportermultiple assaults of bystandersattacking media, people being dragged out of their cars and beatenbuildings set on fire with people insidemolotov cocktails being thrown at police, and other nefarious acts, all at the hands of violent leftists associated with Antifa and Black Lives Matter, Department of Homeland Security agents officially reveal what they consider to be the number one terror threat in the area; “Right wing extremists” and strawmen “white supremacists.”

That’s right, the federal agency seemingly ignores the 100+ nights of violence and mayhem caused by crazed leftists, and instead makes mountains out of molehills involving right-wing Trump supporters.

The Oregonian reports:

President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed anti-fascists, known as antifa, are a serious threat to suburban populations. Trump stood in front of a crowd in Michigan on Sept. 10 and repeated his claim about anti-fascists planning to infiltrate the suburbs.

However, Chad Wolf, the acting secretary of the federal Department of Homeland Security, acknowledged to Congress this week that white supremacists are the “most persistent and lethal” domestic threat to the U.S. Internal records also indicate the greater threat likely came from armed vigilantes roaming the streets in search of “antifa.”

Racially motivated extremists and ad-hoc citizen militias appear to present the most pronounced threat of violence to human life, according to a Joint Intelligence Bulletin circulated to law enforcement in June by the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and National Counterterrorism Center.

The report appears to use “domestic violent extremists” in place of white supremacists when it describes the highest threat of lethal acts of terrorism, a change in Department of Homeland Security terminology first reported by the national security blog Lawfare after leaked drafts of an annual threat assessment report were obtained by the publication.

“Based upon current information, we assess the greatest threat of lethal violence continues to emanate from lone offenders with racially or ethnically motivated violent extremist (RMVE) ideologies and [domestic violent extremists] with personalized ideologies,” the June bulletin says, without referring to white supremacists directly.

The Joint Intelligence memo is titled “Domestic violent extremists could exploit current events to incite or justify attacks on law enforcement of civilians engaged in First Amendment-protected activities.”

The memo is dated June 8 and came less than two weeks after protests against police violence started in Portland. Protesters have routinely damaged public property and businesses and thrown fireworks at buildings and officers.

The report obtained by The Oregonian/OregonLive says federal officials deemed demonstrators a threat to buildings and police.

“Anarchist extremists continue to pose the most significant threat of targeted assaults against police, as well as targeting government buildings and police vehicles for damage, sometimes with improvised incendiary devices,” the June bulletin says.

But the other conclusions of the memo — that white supremacists and self-styled militias are a serious threat to human life — vary vastly from the traditional rhetoric of the president and federal government. The memo concludes some white supremacists and militia extremists are trying to bring about a second civil war by “intentionally instigating violence.”

Wolf’s testimony to Congress was the highest-profile acknowledgment by the Trump administration of the significance of the right-wing threat.

Twitter Targets QAnon: Nukes 7,000 Accounts, Restricts 150,000 More

Twitter has decided the latest threat to society are QAnon followers – with the social media giant banning 7,000 accounts and limiting the reach of 150,000 more in a widespread crackdown against people who believe President Trump is part of a plan to take down the Deep State.

According to NBC Newsthe 7,000 QAnon account bans were in response to “breaking its rules on targeted harassment,” while the 150,000 other accounts will no longer appear in ‘recommended follows,’ nor will any of their content be included in ‘trends’ and search.

NBC News‘ Ben Collins and Brandy Zadrozny point to the recent harassment of “TV personality and author Chrissy Teigen,” who deleted 60,000 tweets after her history of sexualizing children, frequent pizza references, and an unsupported rumor that she flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘lolita express’ resulted in QAnon followers and others suggesting she’s a pedophile.

While her strange tweets were real, evidence that she flew on Epstein’s infamous pedo plane appears to have been fabricated. While several articles have been written about QAnon followers harassing Teigen over the Epstein connection, somehow they glossed over her tweets about children.

This type of harassment campaign is known as “swarming” or “brigading,” and Twitter said those swarms will no longer be allowed on the platform. Twitter will ban users who threaten users during QAnon-related swarms, and limit the reach and search visibility of those who participate in them.

A Twitter spokesperson said this sort of anti-harassment policy could apply to other groups that are primarily motivated by targeted harassment in the future. –NBC News

So, given the recent media attention we’re guessing Teigen’s ‘targeted harassment’ is what prompted Twitter’s QAnon crackdown – a move which might backfire and make people more inclined to follow the movement, according to journalist Paul Joseph Watson.

But Twitter also announced this week new rules on child exploitation. According to Twitter safety: Discussions on “attractions towards minors” are permitted.

So hardcore Trump supporters are NOT allowed.
But discussions on attration to kids IS allowed.
What a sick bunch. (TGP)

The Police Killing of George Floyd Sparks Massive Protests, Rioting, Looting, and Burning of Businesses by Antifa, Black Lives Matter, etc.

On May 25, 2020, George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, was killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest for allegedly using a counterfeit bill. Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, knelt on Floyd’s neck for almost nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down in the street, begging for his life and repeatedly saying “I can’t breathe”. A second and third officer further restrained Floyd while a fourth prevented bystanders from intervening. During the final three minutes Floyd was motionless and had no pulse while Chauvin ignored onlookers’ pleas to remove his knee, which he did not do until medics told him to.

All four officers were fired the following day, after videos made by witnesses and security cameras became public. Two autopsies found Floyd’s death to be a homicide. Chauvin was initially charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, to which was later added second-degree murder; the three other officers were charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder. (Wikipedia)

2020 Leftwing riots immediately followed, which were an effort by the DNC and mainstream media to spark a race war in the United States in advance of the 2020 presidential election. After the killing of a  the black man while being taken into Minneapolis police custody, white liberal racists and social justice warriors nationwide began rioting, knowing that African Americans would be blamed for the violence. The violence was discovered to have been pre-planned and well financed. Democrat leaders and mainstream media refused to condemn the loss of innocent lives and property. The Antifa terrorist organization and other violent socialist groups hijacked peaceful protests and were responsible for the looting, burning. and lawlessness. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is a key support group.

After the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis policeman using a supposed “non-lethal” choke hold approved by the city’s Democratic administration, the communist-dominated New York Times called for a movement to defund the police nationwide. Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign spokesman immediately echoed the sentiment.

It is certain the riots were non-spontaneous; the delivery of unbound pallets of bricks placed at strategic points in front of government buildings and affluent shopping districts in metropolitan areas throughout the country on the morning the riots broke out demonstrates a high degree of logistical coordination and financing. The evidence suggest a classic communist revolution, which much of the world has suffered at one time or another over the past 100 years, but the American people has been isolated from and remains somewhat naive in dealing with such threats to preserving their freedom.

150 federal buildings were defaced and 750 police officers injured nationwide in the liberal Democrat/Socialist violence.

DHS Whistleblower against Obama Administration, Philip Haney, Found Dead – Shot and Killed

DHS whistleblower Philip Haney was found shot dead near his vehicle in California. Haney died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot, according to a statement issued Saturday afternoon by the Office the Sheriff-Coroner for Amador County, California that cautioned the investigation was “active and ongoing”. Haney had been missing for two days.

“My friend Phil Haney was found shot yesterday in CA. I had lunch with him a month ago. He warned something could happen to him. He was to get married in a month. It will be falsely called a suicide.”

Philip Haney was the co-author with Art Moore of the book, See Something, Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to JihadHaney told Sean Hannity in 2016 that he was ordered during the Obama administration to scrub the record of Muslims in the US with terrorist ties. He also spoke out against the Muslim Brotherhood’s Obama-era infiltration of the US government in October 2019.

The story of his death was not reported by the mainstream media.

Philip Haney said political correctness during the Obama years killed the investigation that might have stopped the San Bernardino Christmas terrorists.

Law Enforcement Today reported:

We’ve received reports that Philip Haney, a DHS whistleblower on the Obama administration, has been found dead.

We have not yet received independent confirmation from the Sheriff’s Department, but sources within law enforcement have verified that there’s a death investigation underway.

If you have seen a few episodes of Behind the Uniform or have ever watched Fox News, you probably recognize the name Philip Haney. He was the DHS whistleblower that dropped the hammer on the Obama administration regarding the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS.

He was also a friend to many at Law Enforcement Today. We have an exclusive interview with him at the bottom of the article that was conducted on Behind the Uniforms before his death.

National security specialist Ilana Freedman who had worked with Philip Haney, said she was very surprised to hear the news about Philip. Phil wrote a promotion for her book. Ilana told The Gateway Pundit, “I believe he was murdered. I don’t believe it was suicide. I am an intelligence analyst. What I see here is something very nasty. He thought several weeks ago he might be assassinated. Philip said if he were killed it would absolutely would not be suicide.

Ilana added that people who knew him believed he would never commit suicide. “He was a very religious man who believed suicide was a sin. A fellow associate I know said Philip stated several times that if he was accused of suicide not to believe it. He said that to a lot of people.” And Ilana spoke about a project Philip Haney was working on that was going to be published this year. He had very serious allegations. Phil claimed the terror attacks in California and Florida could have been prevented.

Rep. King knew Phil Haney since he outed himself as a whistleblower during the Obama years. Steve said whatever Philip Haney told you, “you could by golly believe.” Steve also had Haney as a guest speaker during an event in Iowa to promote his book. Rep. King told The Gateway Pundit, “I don’t believe Phil Haney committed suicide. Phil was a committed Christian.”

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) spoke out on the House floor this week to remember his friend Philip Haney. Rep. Gohmert did not come right out and say Phillip Haney was murdered. But he did do an excellent job of explaining why members of the Obama administration would have excellent motives to have done so.

Rep. Louie Gohmert: “I had a friend I met here years ago. His name is Phil Haney and he was one of the kindest, most patriotic, competent people I’ve ever known in my life… We had a mutual pact. If it’s said that either one of us end up having committed suicide then the other is going to make sure that truth wins out… He saw things that were a threat to this country, he said something, and he was severely punished for it, because apparently the Obama administration had some radical ties that they did not want anybody, including Philip Haney, to expose… He was gonna name names of people that put this country at risk…and he ends with a bullet in him?”

Vlad Tepes has the entire speech.
